testing the blogger template comment problem

on some third party templates the comments seem to quit working.

Why?

I've found several clues, but I was able to get a comment box by going to Settings > Comments and then the Comment Form Placement section. Check the Full Page option.

The pop-up window also seems to work.

The embedded below post option does NOT work.

It has a warning that says it won't work if the Post Pages option is disabled.

The only place that I can find any Post Pages setting is in the Archive section. There is an "Enable Post Pages" setting. The explanation there kind of makes sense, however, it is set to enabled and the comments still don't work for the "Embedded below post" option.

Apparently you may still have to add some code to your template to make the "Embedded below post" work.
